Madison Wade is an American journalist working at KING 5, Seattle. She joined the station in June 2022 and serves as the weekend evening anchor and reporter. Before KING 5, Wade worked at ABC10 in Sacramento, California, as the evening anchor.
While at ABC10, Madison began a true crime series called Unsolved California as she was vehement about investigative journalism. She found it very rewarding to bring out cases that had been set in the dark and this helped create a break in the cases. In addition, she received an Emmy for coverage of fatal and catastrophic wildfires in Northern California.
Wade began her journalism career at KRCR in Redding, California, and then joined Knoxville, Tennessee. Earlier, Madison grew up in West Seattle, joined and graduated from Holy Names Academy, then attended Gonzaga University. That aside, She studied journalism at Chapman University, California, graduating from the Dodge College of Film and Broadcasting.
